Home Building and Supply Facilities Unite to Raise Funds for Cancer Center
Clayton Bean Station and TRU White Pine have a tradition of giving to the Morristown Regional Cancer Center' patient assistance fund. In 2022, Supply Morristown I, Supply Morristown II and Clayton Rutledge joined the effort to help fundraise for the cancer center and on December 5, presented a $68,090 check for the hospital.
The teams raised funds through SWAG sales, chili cook-offs, contests, raffles and Team Member contribution matching, making this year's donation the largest to date. Since 2017, these facilities have donated more than $180,000 to the fund.
Clayton Bean Station and Clayton Rutledge team members wrapped up the season of giving by participating in the hospital's annual Jingle Run for Hope. All proceeds from the run also benefit the cancer center's patient assistance fund, which provides patients and their families with financial assistance toward treatment, medication, transportation and other basic needs.
